Charter Terms: Private charter Clients on Happy Hour will be required to complete the downloadable Charter Agreement found at the bottom of our main page on our website. This agreement must be completed BEFORE BOARDING. If you do not have a completed copy at time of boarding, the Crew can provide one for you. This agreement is the legal binding document between Destin Yachting and the Chartering party.
COVID-19 The charter party must be certain they have followed safe practices of social distancing for at least the last 4 weeks, and are in good health. If for any reason the chartering party is uncertain they are in good health, they must notify the captain. Charter Party agrees that the Yacht shall be employed exclusively as a pleasure vessel for the sole and proper use of the respective parties during the Charter Term. Charter Party shall not transport merchandise, carry or allow any person to bring or keep on board any weapon or narcotic or controlled dangerous substance (commonly referred to as “Drugs”), engage in any trade or violate any of the laws of the United States or any other government within the jurisdiction of which the Yacht may be at any time. Charter Party shall comply with the law in all respects.
General Rules:
Menu and Beverages: Charter Party may bring own food and/or alcohol. Food will be ready on board if one of our preferred catering vendors are used. We will provide water, ice, plates, cups, and silverware.
Rain date policy: Happy Hour is capable of sailing rain or shine, and offers sheltered cabin space for all guests. In the event of extreme or other adverse forecasted weather conditions, the Charter Party and Destin Yachting can agree to reschedule no later than 1 PM the day before the charter. In such a case, Destin Yachting will find another day to reschedule the charter, or offer a full refund minus a fee of 10% and any food or drink already ordered for the cruise. The captain reserves the right to cancel any charter if he/she feels weather conditions represent a danger to the safety of the passengers.
Cancellation Policy: If a charter is cancelled more than four weeks before the Charter Party’s scheduled sailing date, the Charter Party will receive a full refund, minus a $250 cancellation fee. If the Charter Party cancels their charter between one week and four weeks, the Charter Party will receive a full refund minus 10% of the charter amount. If the Charter Party cancels their charter less than one week and more than 72 hours in advance of their date, 50% monies paid by the charter are refunded unless Destin Yachting books another charter on that date. If another charter party takes that date and time period, for an equal or greater amount of money, the original Charter Party will receive a full refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Cancellations with 72 hours are non-refundable. We will make every effort to find an alternate date with no penalty if possible and only if the schedule change did not affect our ability to book another charter for the time slot being released..
Damage: If any member of the Charter Party causes any damage to any of the boats, De stin Yachtingwill assess the damage and estimate the cost of repair. Destin Yachting will consult with the Charter Party before applying any fees to the credit card.
